Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Executive based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales performance by assisting customers, understanding their preferences, and guiding them to suitable jewellery pieces. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a positive in-store experience. The role also involves providing after-sales services, handling inquiries, and contributing to store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in sales strategies, upselling techniques, and achieving targets
- Basic knowledge of fine jewellery, including gold, platinum, diamonds, and gemstones
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and maintain a positive environment
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Prior experience in retail or sales roles, preferably in the jewellery or luxury segment, is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous
- Fluency in English and regional languages is preferred
