Sales Executive

BedR is a fast-growing prop-tech startup building the operating system for shared accommodation in India. Through BedR, students and young professionals discover PGs, hostels, and co-living spaces seamlessly — while through Managr by BedR, PG and hostel owners use our software to streamline operations, leads, bookings, and occupancy.
We’re building both sides of the ecosystem: demand (tenants) and supply (property owners).
Role Overview
This is a high-impact hybrid sales role combining Customer Sales and B2B PG Sales.
As a Sales Executive, you will drive daily revenue by:
- Converting tenant leads into property visits and bookings through BedR
- Building relationships with PG/hostel owners and selling them Managr by BedR, our SaaS + operating platform
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup, can switch between B2C and B2B sales, and is equally comfortable closing bookings with customers and pitching software to property owners.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Sales (B2C)
● Reach out to warm leads (students, parents, working professionals) through calls, WhatsApp, and CRM
● Understand customer requirements (budget, location, room type, move-in timeline)
● Match customers with relevant BedR listings and communicate value clearly
● Schedule property visits and drive visit-to-booking conversions
● Follow up aggressively to maximize daily bookings
● Maintain CRM hygiene and accurate lead status updates
PG Owner Sales (B2B)
● Identify and engage PG/hostel owners to onboard onto BedR and pitch Managr by BedR
● Explain how Managr helps owners improve occupancy, lead management, operations, and revenue
● Conduct product demos, sales calls, and relationship-building conversations
● Build trust with owners and close software subscriptions or marketplace partnerships
● Follow up with prospects consistently and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● 2–5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, tele-sales, SaaS sales, or business development
● Excellent communication in English, Hindi (Marathi is a plus)
● Strong persuasion, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills
● Comfortable selling to both consumers and business owners
● Self-driven, target-oriented, and highly organised
● Startup mindset with strong ownership mentality
Compensation
● Fixed Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month (based on experience)
