Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi for a combined Sales Executive and Documentation Executive position. The Sales Executive responsibilities include identifying and approaching potential clients, building and maintaining customer relationships, preparing quotations, and following up to close deals in freight and logistics services. The Documentation Executive responsibilities include preparing and verifying shipping and customs documents, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves regular communication with clients, carriers, and vendors, as well as tracking shipments, resolving issues, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
- Sales and customer service abilities, including lead generation, negotiation, and follow-up to close business.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, records, and shipment tracking.
- Basic knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations; familiarity with shipping and customs procedures is an advantage.
- Proficiency in office software (such as email, spreadsheets, and documentation tools) and ability to learn logistics-related systems.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Kochi, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under time-sensitive conditions.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, documentation, or logistics operations will be considered an added benefit.
