Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Executive & Business Development Intern who is passionate about AgriTech, farm automation, and precision agriculture.
This role is ideal for someone interested in B2B AgriTech sales, field engagement with farmers, and building market presence for advanced farm automation technologies.
You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to identify leads, conduct demos, and build relationships with progressive farmers and agri enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct cold calling and outbound outreach to generate new sales leads
• Identify potential customers through digital platforms, agri networks, and field visits
• Build a sales pipeline from different lead sources including events, references, and online research
• Engage with farmers, farm managers, and agri enterprises to understand their needs
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Support the sales team in closing deals and managing customer relationships
• Coordinate with the technical team for installation and onboarding
• Assist in on-farm visits and pilot deployments
• Maintain CRM data and track sales activities
• Participate in farmer events, exhibitions, and agri field days
• Collect market insights, customer feedback, and competitor information
Customers You Will Interact With
• High-value horticulture farms
(Grapes, Pomegranate, Banana, Mango, Citrus, Strawberry, etc.)
• Greenhouse / Polyhouse operations
• Vertical farms & controlled environment agriculture
• Progressive farmers adopting precision agriculture
Requirements
• Interest in AgriTech, IoT, farm automation, or precision agriculture
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable doing cold calling and lead generation
• Ability to work in field-based sales environments
• Basic understanding of agriculture or horticulture is preferred
• Fluent in Hindi and English
Preferred Background
• Agriculture / Horticulture / Agri Engineering / Agri Business students
• Candidates interested in AgriTech sales or agribusiness development
• Prior exposure to farm technology, IoT systems, or agri startups is a plus
