About zMed
zMed builds clinical software for hospitals — covering ICU, Operation Theatre, Emergency, and Ambulance workflows. We are growing the adoption of our newest product, zMed 3.0, across hospitals in Mumbai, and need support to drive this expansion.
About the Role
We are looking for a self-driven sales professional to grow zMed's hospital customer base in Mumbai. You will identify hospitals to target, set up meetings with decision-makers, present our product with support from the team, and move deals through to closure.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a target list of hospitals across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
- Visit hospitals every week — meet Medical Superintendents, CMIOs, IT heads, ICU/OT/ER department heads, and procurement teams.
- Generate meetings through LinkedIn outreach, referrals, healthcare conferences, and cold outreach.
- Present zMed's product to hospital leadership (clinical and non-clinical demos are supported by the product team).
- Coordinate pilots and proof-of-concepts with the deployment team.
- Help prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and drive deals to PO/contract.
- Maintain an updated CRM with account status and next steps.
- Report pipeline progress weekly to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of B2B field sales experience — ideally selling to hospitals (medical devices, pharma, diagnostics, consumables, hospital software, or services).
- Comfortable visiting hospitals and speaking with senior clinicians, IT heads, and administrators.
- Strong spoken and written English; conversational Hindi and Marathi strongly preferred.
- Self-starter who can plan their own week, manage their own pipeline, and work without daily supervision.
- Polished, professional presence; reliable on follow-ups; disciplined with CRM hygiene.
- Willing to travel across MMR; occasional travel to nearby cities.
Good to Have
- Existing relationships in Mumbai's tertiary-care hospital ecosystem.
- Experience selling EMR, HIS, ICU systems, or other hospital software.
- MBA / PGDM (not mandatory if track record is strong).
