About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact Sales Executive to drive business growth across both issuing and acquiring ecosystems. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments landscape, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to close complex deals with banks, fintechs, and merchants.
You will play a critical role in expanding our footprint across card issuers, payment facilitators, merchant acquirers, and ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities include :-
Business Development
- Drive new business acquisition across:
- Issuing side: Banks, NBFCs, fintech issuers, prepaid programs
- Acquiring side: Merchant acquirers, PSPs, payment aggregators, large merchants
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across POS, SoftPOS, online payments, and value-added services
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise deals
Sales & Relationship Management
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders in banks, fintechs, and merchants
- Own end-to-end sales lifecycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closure
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, tech, compliance) to deliver tailored solutions
- Manage long-term partnerships to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Market & Ecosystem Engagement
- Stay on top of payment trends (e.g., tokenization, SoftPOS, real-time payments, C-8 kernels, etc.)
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and partner discussions
- Map the ecosystem and identify partnership opportunities with networks, processors, and platforms
Strategic Contribution
- Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new solutions
- Support expansion into new geographies and segments
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in payments / fintech / banking sales
- Strong understanding of:
- Card issuing (credit, debit, prepaid)
- Merchant acquiring (POS, SoftPOS, gateway, QR)
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals
- Strong network across banks, fintechs, or merchant ecosystems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with payment processors, networks, or acceptance platforms
- Exposure to global payment ecosystems and partnerships
- MBA or equivalent business qualification
