We are hiring a Sales Executive with strong knowledge of Ind AS 116 (Leases) and Ind AS 115 (Revenue Recognition), especially around intellectual property licensing and lessee/lessor accounting.
The ideal candidate understands how these standards impact financial statements and can confidently sell solutions to CFOs, Controllers, Finance Managers, and Audit Teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate and close leads for accounting, compliance, and automation products.
• Conduct product demos focused on Ind AS 116 and Ind AS 115 use cases.
• Engage with finance teams to understand lease accounting and revenue recognition challenges.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Work closely with product and implementation teams to ensure client success.
Required Knowledge (Must Have)
Ind AS 116 – Leases
Lessee accounting:
Initial recognition of Lease Liability and ROU Asset
Subsequent measurement, depreciation, interest
Lessor accounting:
Finance lease (derecognition, net investment)
Operating lease (straight line rental income)
Disclosures: maturity analysis, short term/low value leases, qualitative info
Understanding of impact on Balance Sheet, P&L, EBITDA, Cash Flows
Ind AS 115 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers
• Licensing of intellectual property
• Timing of revenue recognition
• Contract modifications, variable consideration
Skills & Experience
• 2–6 years in B2B sales, SaaS sales, ERP/accounting software sales, or consulting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical accounting concepts in simple business language.
• Experience selling to finance, audit, or compliance teams is a major plus.
