Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Sales Engineer specializing in CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) and Reliability Services. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, providing technical support to clients, and managing customer relationships as well as handling pre-sales, technical sales and post-sales activities, generating new business, and supporting customers across Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle pre-sales technical discussions, site visits, and customer requirement analysis
· Promote CBM services such as:
· Vibration Analysis
· Laser Shaft Alignment
· Dynamic Balancing
· Thermography
· Ultrasound
· Online Condition Monitoring
· Generate new leads and develop industrial customers
· Prepare technical-commercial offers, proposals, and quotations
· Coordinate with technical teams for execution and delivery
· Handle post-sales customer support and relationship management
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
· Maintain CRM, visit reports, and follow-up records
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of CBM & Reliability techniques
· Understanding of rotating equipment, vibration basics, bearing faults, misalignment, unbalance
· Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
· Ability to explain technical concepts to customers
· Willing to travel across Maharashtra
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
- CBM certifications (Mobius CAT I/II, Thermography, Ultrasound) will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to provide solutions and address customer needs effectively
- Strong Sales and Customer Service skills to manage client interactions and drive business growth
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
- Knowledge or experience in CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) and Reliability Services is an advantage
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
