Role Description This is a full-time, on-site (field job) Sales Engineer role based in New Delhi, focused on bending machines.
The Sales Engineer will identify and engage prospective clients, conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, and recommend bending machine solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, supporting negotiations, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets.
The Sales Engineer will also gather market feedback, track competitor activities, and maintain accurate records in the CRM to support business planning and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, with experience selling industrial equipment or machinery, preferably CNC or bending machines.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Customer Service, managing customer expectations.
- Effective Communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly, conducting presentations, and building long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to travel within the region to visit customer sites, with a proactive, solution-oriented, and target-driven mindset.
- Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms to manage leads, opportunities, and reports.
- Prior experience in capital equipment sales or manufacturing industry sales is an advantage.
