Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team in South India. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for driving technical sales of SMT equipment and solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their manufacturing processes, production challenges, and business objectives, and recommend optimized SMT solutions. The role combines technical consulting with business development and requires close coordination with engineering, applications, and service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer relationships within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle.
- Understand customer manufacturing requirements and recommend suitable SMT solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution evaluations.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support in collaboration with service and applications teams.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and market intelligence.
- Work closely with principals and internal teams to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or sales engineering (experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, prepare proposals and negotiate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and presentation tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

- Solder Paste Printers
- SPI / AOI / AXI Inspection Systems
- Reflow Ovens
- PCB Assembly Processes
- Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
- Production Line Balancing and Throughput Optimization
