Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Gandhinagar. The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their manufacturing processes and recommend appropriate vision inspection solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical demonstrations, preparing proposals, supporting sales presentations, and coordinating with the engineering team to ensure accurate solution design. The role involves handling pre- and post-sales technical queries, providing basic application support, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. The Sales Engineer will also contribute to market research, attend industry meetings or visits, and support growth initiatives in key sectors such as pharmaceutical, automobile, drip manufacturing, and FMCG.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills for understanding customer requirements and providing suitable solutions.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service to manage the sales cycle and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Background in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or electronics) is preferred.
- Experience with industrial automation, machine vision, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site with customers, conduct field visits, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn new technologies, and comfort with using basic office and presentation tools.
