Job Description – Sales Engineer (Data Centre Solutions)

🔹 Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and technically inclined Sales Engineer to drive business development in the data centre, telecom, and high-performance electronics segment.
The role involves promoting thermal management, EMI shielding, and liquid cooling-related solutions from Parker Hannifin portfolio (Chomerics & associated divisions), with a focus on engaging system integrators and OEMs.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop business opportunities in:
o Data centres
o EMS / ODM companies
o Telecom & high-performance electronics
• Promote solutions related to:
o Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs)
o EMI shielding solutions
o Liquid cooling ecosystem (in coordination with Parker teams)
• Engage with:
o Design engineers
o Purchase teams
o Project teams
• Drive design-in activities at early stages of customer projects
• Coordinate with Parker technical teams for:
o Application support
o Technical discussions
o Joint customer meetings
• Manage complete sales cycle:
o Lead generation → Technical discussion → Closure → Follow-up
🔹 Key Requirements
🎓 Education:
• B.E / B.Tech in:
o Mechanical
o Electrical
o Electronics
🧠 Experience:
• 2–6 years’ experience in:
o Technical sales / application engineering
• Preferred exposure to:
o Thermal management / cooling
o Electronics / power systems
o Industrial components
🔧 Skills:
• Basic understanding of:
o Heat dissipation / cooling concepts
o Electronic systems / enclosures
• Ability to:
o Understand customer requirements
o Convert technical discussion into business opportunity
• Good communication & presentation skills
🔹 Preferred Profile
• Experience with:
o EMS companies
o Telecom / electronics industry
• Exposure to:
o Data centre / server / power electronics (added advantage)
