Job Description
- Position: Sales Engineer
- Department: Sales - Industrial Sales
- Location: Ahmedabad
- Qualification: Diploma/BE / B.Tech / MBA
- Experience: 2 - 6 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as automotive, fabrication, electronics, and manufacturing.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, exhibitions, and references.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Technical Support & Solution Selling:
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laser machine solutions (cutting, engraving, welding, marking).
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales support.
- Coordinate with application and service teams for machine trials and installations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Handle customer queries, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Provide feedback to management for product improvements and strategy planning.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machines (laser cutting, CNC, automation preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and applications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
