Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical sales support, maintaining client relationships, and identifying customer needs. Key tasks include driving technical discussions, demonstrating product solutions, collaborating with engineering teams, and facilitating the installation or commissioning of equipment. The role also involves contributing to achieving sales targets, preparing business proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through after-sales support services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Technical Support, with the ability to understand and communicate technical requirements effectively
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for managing client relationships and addressing customer inquiries
- Proven experience in Sales, with the ability to develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Technical aptitude or background in industrial machinery, electronics, or similar fields is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and adapt to customer-specific needs
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in industries such as EV manufacturing, automotive, battery testing, or industrial equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with local languages is advantageous
