Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Vapi. Willing to travel and visit our Vasai office once every week. The Sales Engineer will engage with industrial clients to understand their storage requirements, propose suitable racking solutions, and prepare technical and commercial offers. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, providing technical guidance, coordinating with design and production teams, and following up on inquiries and quotations. The role involves managing the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure, maintaining strong customer relationships, and offering post-sale technical support. The Sales Engineer is expected to document all interactions, report on market trends, and contribute to continuous improvement in sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand and explain industrial storage solutions.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead management, negotiation, and relationship-building with industrial clients.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with customers and internal teams.
- Background in engineering or a related technical field; diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in B2B industrial products or material handling equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Vapi, conduct regular client visits, and travel locally as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in proposals and specifications.
