Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Sales Engineer will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their packaging, labeling, and automation requirements and propose suitable PrintMach solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical and commercial proposals, collaborating with engineering teams to tailor solutions, and providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support. The role involves managing sales pipelines, responding to customer inquiries, coordinating installations with the technical team, and ensuring a smooth handover from sales to service. The Sales Engineer will also gather market feedback, contribute to product improvements, and maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Sales Engineering and Technical Support for industrial machinery or automation solutions.
- Strong Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage accounts, and drive new business.
- Excellent Communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and machine documentation.
- Comfort working on-site with manufacturing and packaging environments, including occasional travel to customer locations.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in packaging machinery, robotics, or automation industries is an advantage.
