Orca Advanced Materials is building domestic capability in advanced metal powders , critical inputs across industries such as manufacturing, coatings, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
We are currently in the final stages of commissioning our production facility, with operations set to begin shortly. Our focus is on building a high-quality, reliable, and scalable materials business from India.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Engineer who understands how industrial B2B sales actually work - long cycles, technical discussions, and relationship-driven conversions.
This role is not transactional sales. It involves working closely with customers to understand applications, specifications, and requirements, and translating that into meaningful business.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new B2B customers across relevant industries
- (manufacturing, AAC, coatings, thermal spray, pigments, chemicals etc.)
- Engage with technical and procurement teams to understand requirements, specifications, and use-cases
- Drive the full sales cycle:
- lead generation → qualification → sampling → trials → commercial closure
- Coordinate internally with production and quality teams for trials, customization, and delivery
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Track market feedback, competitor activity, and pricing trends
Who We’re Looking For- 3–8 years of experience in B2B/industrial sales
- Experience in materials, chemicals, metals, powders, coatings, or related sectors is preferred
- Strong ability to engage in technical conversations with customers
- Comfortable with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Self-driven, structured, and able to work in an early-stage environment
