Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Pune District (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 2–5 Years
CTC Range: ₹3–6 LPA
Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to support business development and customer engagement for our engineering and material handling equipment division.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical understanding along with the ability to build customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and provide solution-oriented technical sales support.
Candidates with prior experience in material handling equipment, industrial equipment, heavy engineering, bridge equipment, lifting systems, or infrastructure-related industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and industrial customers
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial offers, quotations, and sales proposals
- Conduct technical discussions, product presentations, and client meetings
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for technical clarifications
- Support business development activities and market expansion initiatives
- Follow up on inquiries, negotiations, and order finalization
- Provide technical support and after-sales coordination to customers
- Maintain records of client interactions, quotations, and project updates
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to organizational growth

- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
Preferred Background
- Experience in:
- Material Handling Equipment
- Heavy Engineering Equipment
- Lifting Systems / EOT Cranes
- Infrastructure / Bridge Equipment
- Industrial Equipment Sales
- Prior exposure to engineering sales, technical proposals, and customer coordination will be an advantage.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Diploma candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered
