Role Description
This is a full-time field role for a Sales Engineer located in Vadodara. The Sales Engineer will manage client relationships, provide technical solutions, and assist in product presentations. They will be responsible for preparing proposals, engaging with customers to understand requirements, and supporting the implementation of tailored solutions. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and handle ongoing project needs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the electrical sector
- Generate leads and convert them into sales
- Visit clients, consultants, and industrial sites for product promotion
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, dispatch)
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Track market trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 1–4 years of experience in electrical product sales (freshers can apply if strong technical knowledge)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel for field sales work
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of panels, switchgear, or industrial electrical products
- Strong technical understanding with sales mindset
- Customer handling and presentation skills
