Role Description The Sales Engineer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, bridging technical solutions with customer needs. Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, preparing and presenting technical proposals, and demonstrating how products and services meet customer specifications. The role involves coordinating with internal engineering and production teams, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and responding to customer inquiries. The Sales Engineer will visit client sites, support product commissioning where required, and maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotations, and follow-ups. Daily tasks also include building long-term relationships with customers, supporting negotiations, and contributing feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand and explain engineering concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including managing client expectations and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for presentations, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent technical background.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments and familiarity with common engineering products or systems.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct client visits in and around Ahmedabad, and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time-management abilities, with comfort using common office and CRM software.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and safety-focused work practices, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
