Role Description The Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Sales Engineer will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, and prepare proposals that align with customer requirements in the aluminium melting and recycling sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with clients to understand their processes, recommending suitable technical solutions, coordinating with engineering and project teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The role also involves managing the sales pipeline, maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting negotiations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Customer Service skills to manage opportunities, nurture relationships, and drive long-term client partnerships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present technical concepts clearly and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in industrial equipment, furnaces, or engineering solutions, preferably within the metals or recycling industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related field) or a similar technical discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, travel to client locations as needed, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
