About the Company
Cochin Gaskets Pvt Ltd is a leading supplier and manufacturer of industrial gasket solutions catering to multiple industries including manufacturing, engineering, marine, and infrastructure sectors. We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to expand our market presence and develop strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and engineering sectors.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable gasket solutions.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales.
- Coordinate with the technical and production teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Track market trends and competitor activity.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred).
- Diploma in Engineering candidates may be considered with relevant sales experience.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial or engineering products.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain solutions to customers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client visits.
Preferred
- Experience in industrial consumables, engineering components, gaskets, sealing solutions, or related products.
Compensation
- Salary: 25,000-50,000 (based on experience).
- Performance incentives may be provided.
