Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role is based in Noida. The Sales Engineer will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their material handling and automation requirements, prepare technical proposals, and present customized solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, collaborating with engineering and design teams, and supporting the development of cost-effective production line concepts. The role involves managing the sales cycle, providing technical support during pre- and post-sales phases, and ensuring a smooth handover from solution design to installation. The Sales Engineer will also maintain strong customer relationships, participate in product demonstrations, and contribute to market research and business development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate complex automation concepts into practical solutions.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proven Sales skills, including opportunity qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Understanding of material handling, production line automation, or industrial automation systems; experience with packaging or logistics solutions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site at customer facilities, conduct technical assessments, and coordinate with internal cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering design tools.
- Prior experience in B2B industrial or manufacturing sector sales is preferred.
