We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong UPS Sales Engineer with experience in selling UPS systems and power backup solutions to commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding, excellent client handling skills, and good exposure to the market. Experience in dealing with hospitals, hotels, factories, and data centers will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for UPS systems, batteries, power backup solutions, and related services.
- Generate leads and convert inquiries into sales through technical presentations and solution selling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, facility managers, procurement teams, and end users.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the management.
Technical Support & Solution Selling
- Understand client power requirements and recommend suitable UPS solutions based on load calculations and application needs.
- Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys, technical submittals, and proposal preparation.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical clarifications to clients.
Market Analysis & Client Management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the UAE market.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts in hospitals, hotels, factories, and data centres.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt response and professional support.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer records using CRM tools.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
- Coordinate with service and project teams to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in UPS sales, critical power solutions, electrical equipment, or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, batteries, inverters, and electrical power solutions.
- Experience in handling projects within hospitals, hotels, factories, or data centres is preferred.
- Good understanding of the UAE market and customer network.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Valid driving licence.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of power quality solutions and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.
- Experience with reputed UPS brands will be an added advantage.
