Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Development Representative to join our team on-site in Coimbatore. In this role, you will focus on lead generation, engaging and nurturing potential clients, and supporting the sales pipeline. Responsibilities include reaching out to prospective clients, qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and collaborating with the business development team to identify growth opportunities. You will play a crucial role in representing our company to clients and building sustainable customer relationships.
The SDR will focus on generating and qualifying sales opportunities for AI-powered sales and marketing suite in the US and Canada markets. You will be the first point of contact for many of our prospects, running targeted outbound campaigns, responding to inbound leads, and booking high-quality meetings for the Account Executive / Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and build prospect lists for ICP accounts across the US & Canada.
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) leveraging GoZen’s own tools and playbooks.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria (fit, intent, use case, buying timeline).
- Conduct discovery-focused intro calls to understand prospect pain points and position GoZen’s solutions.
- Book product demos and hand off qualified opportunities to the Sales / AE team with clear context.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all activities and opportunities in the CRM.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to give feedback on campaigns, messaging, and lead quality.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly targets on outreach activities, qualified meetings, and pipeline value.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in an SDR/BDR or inside sales role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Experience selling or prospecting into US & Canada markets with strong written and spoken English.
- Comfortable with cold outreach, objection handling, and consultative conversations.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools; data-driven approach to prospecting.
- Understanding of sales and marketing tech (email automation, lead gen, CRM, AI tools) is a plus.
- Ownership mindset, resilience, and the ability to work in a high-growth startup environment.
