Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR
) to join our growing sales team in Noida. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving pipeline growth for the sales team.
As the first point of contact with prospects, you will play a critical role in identifying high-quality opportunities, understanding customer needs, and setting up the sales team for successful conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients through channels like LinkedIn, email, and outbound calling
- Generate leads through cold outreach and nurture warm prospects
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and challenges
- Manage inbound leads and engage in meaningful discovery conversations
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
- Attend product training sessions to understand offerings and communication infrastructure
- Participate in meetings (online and in-person), handle introductions, and follow up with prospects
Pipeline Management
- Maintain and update an organized pipeline in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives (AEs)
- Ensure timely follow-ups to move prospects through the sales funnel
Relationship Building
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects through personalized communication
- Establish trust and rapport with decision-makers and stakeholders
- Ensure consistent engagement throughout the sales journey
Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to follow up on inbound leads
- Collaborate with Account Executives on outreach strategies
- Take initiative in developing new lead generation approaches
- Align messaging across teams for better conversion
Performance Metrics
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets (leads, meetings, opportunities)
- Track and report performance metrics to the Sales Head
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance updates
Required Skills & Experience
Core Sales Expertise
- Strong understanding of the sales process and lead qualification
- Ability to research prospects and initiate meaningful conversations
- Experience in outbound sales (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach)
Experience (Preferred)
- 2+ years in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Experience in SaaS, AI, Blockchain, or tech-based solutions is a plus
Tools & Platforms
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Experience with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft)
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle objections and rejection positively
- Highly organized with strong time management
Bonus Skills
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales environments
