Job details:
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to run the top of our sales funnel. Your job is to find the right companies, reach the right people and book qualified meetings for our leadership team. You do not close deals. You hand over well-qualified meetings that are ready to move forward.
You will run our outbound engine: Apollo for lead data, LinkedIn and email for outreach, and HubSpot for tracking. You will set it up with support from our GTM advisor and an in-house engineer who builds the automation, and you will tell them what to build. We sell to buyers in the US, UK, Gulf and other international markets. You will be measured on qualified meetings booked and held, and the pipeline those meetings create.
Key responsibilities:
Build the lead lists:
- Run Apollo. Build account and contact lists against our ideal customer profiles (ICPs) by industry, company size, role and region.
- Verify and enrich contacts and keep lists clean and free of duplicates.
- Track buying signals, such as companies hiring integration or automation engineers, and reach out while the signal is fresh.
Set up and maintain the outreach engine:
- Set up and maintain LinkedIn outreach, email sequences and HubSpot tracking, with support from our GTM advisor and engineer.
- Handle email deliverability: sending domains, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, warm-up and sending limits.
- Follow cold outreach rules for each region, including opt-outs, suppression lists and data protection requirements.
- Tell our engineers what to automate, and test what they build.
Run outreach and get replies:
- Send personalised outbound across email and LinkedIn every day to named decisionmakers in the US, UK, Gulf and other international markets.
- Review messages to priority accounts with leadership before they are sent.
- Manage replies, follow up consistently and handle early objections.
- Test messaging, subject lines and targeting, and keep what works.
Quality and book meetings:
- Qualify each lead against agreed criteria: fit, need, authority and timing.
- Book qualified meetings on leadership calendars, across time zones.
- Hand over each meeting with a short brief: who they are, why they replied and what they care about.
- Reduce no-shows with confirmations and reminders.
Track and report:
- Log all activity in HubSpot.
- Report weekly on contacts reached, reply rate, positive replies, meetings booked and meetings held, by region and channel.
- Share what you hear from prospects with leadership.
What we are looking for:
- 2–4 years in an SDR, BDR or outbound lead generation role at a SaaS or IT services company, targeting buyers in the US, UK, Gulf or other international markets.
- A track record you can show in numbers, such as meetings booked, reply rates or pipeline sourced.
- Hands-on experience with Apollo or a similar prospecting tool, and with HubSpot or another CRM.
- Experience running LinkedIn outreach and cold email sequences.
- Working knowledge of email deliverability, including domain setup, warm-up and sending limits.
- Excellent written English, and confidence on calls with senior buyers.
- Discipline to hit daily activity targets, and comfort setting up tools with limited existing process.
- Ability to explain technical products in plain language.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Clay, Zapier, Make or n8n; selling experience or a network in the Gulf or UK; experience with integration, automation or enterprise software; an engineering degree.
What do we offer:
- A fixed salary plus incentives tied to qualified meetings held and pipeline created.
- Direct access to leadership, and a path into closing and account executive roles.
- Engineering support for the systems you design.
- The chance to build the top of our funnel from the start.
