Sales Development Representative (Outbound / Demand Generation) - Global Markets, North America Focus
Location: [Bengaluru / Remote India] · Full-time · Primary focus North America (must overlap EST/PST); flexibility to support other international markets
Read on to find out if you're a fit.
NeenOpal is a global AI, data analytics, and cloud consulting firm, and an AWS AI Services Competency Partner (top 1% globally). We're building our outbound demand-generation engine from the ground up and we're looking for the person who wants to own that build, not just inherit it.
This is a demand-generation role, not a closing role. And because we're an AI consulting firm, we expect our demand-gen team to practice what we preach using AI tools fluently and inventively to research, personalize, and scale outreach, without ever losing the human judgment that makes it land. If you're energized by disciplined prospecting, sharp messaging, and the satisfaction of booking meetings that turn into real pipeline and you want to build a function rather than slot into one read on.
What you'll actually do
You'll be the engine that fills NeenOpal's international pipeline, with North America as your primary market and the freedom to support our growing opportunities across other regions as they scale. Your job is to identify the right target accounts, turn them into booked, qualified meetings for our senior consultants and founders, and build the systems that make that repeatable.
Build & own the outbound channel
- Stand up our outbound motion from scratch: target lists, sequences, messaging, cadences, and the playbook others will follow as the team grows.
- Bring AI into the workflow deliberately using LLMs and AI-powered sales tooling to accelerate research, drafting, list-building, and personalization, while keeping quality, accuracy, and the human touch firmly in your control.
- Own CRM hygiene end-to-end (HubSpot) every account, contact, and touch logged, clean, and reportable. You'll treat the CRM as the source of truth, not an afterthought.
Prospect & research
- Build and work named-account lists across our ideal-customer segments to identify the right decision-makers Heads of Data, CFOs, COOs, IT/Product leaders.
- Research target industries and companies enough to personalize outreach that earns a reply, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io.
Outreach & qualification
- Run multi-channel outbound: personalized email, LinkedIn, and cold calls into your target markets.
- Lead first-touch qualification conversations, understand the prospect's pain, gauge fit and timing (BANT/MEDDIC-style), and qualify in or out.
- Book and brief discovery meetings for senior delivery and leadership, with clean handoff notes. You set the table; our consultants and founders close.
Opportunity Generation
- Work closely with the partner ecosystem to identify relevant accounts, understand customer needs, and map them to NeenOpal's AI, data, analytics, and cloud capabilities.
- Engage and activate existing, dormant, or under-engaged accounts through targeted outreach, relevant solution conversations, and relationship building that creates active customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams and NeenOpal leadership on account mapping, referrals, partner-led opportunities, and co-selling motions, while maintaining accurate account and opportunity information.
Partner & improve
- Work closely with our delivery and leadership teams so your outreach reflects our live offerings across AI, cloud, and BI/analytics.
- Track what's working, report on funnel metrics weekly, and iterate the playbook.
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years in B2B outbound demand generation / SDR / BDR, ideally selling tech, IT, SaaS, or consulting services into North American or other international markets.
- Excellent written and spoken English, you can write outreach that gets opened and hold a confident first conversation with an international executive.
- AI-savvy and unafraid to use it: you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude, AI research and enrichment tools, AI-assisted sequencing) to work faster and smarter, and you're excited to help build an AI-augmented demand-gen function with the judgment to know when to automate and when not to.
- Genuine outbound discipline: you're process-driven, comfortable with high-volume prospecting, and you handle rejection without losing momentum.
- CRM rigor: hands-on with HubSpot (or similar) and serious about data hygiene and pipeline reporting.
- Comfort with prospecting tooling: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or equivalent. Bonus if you've built sequences and cadences yourself.
- Conceptual comfort with analytics, BI (Tableau/Power BI), cloud (AWS), or IT consulting, enough to speak credibly to a technical buyer and frame the problem. No coding required.
- Willingness to work North American hours as the primary market, with adaptability to other time zones as the role grows (non-negotiable for the role).
- Builder's mindset: you want to shape a function, write the first playbook, and grow into a senior demand-gen or AE role as the team scales.
Nice to have
- Experience selling across multiple geographies (North America, APAC, Middle East, or others).
- Experience selling alongside a cloud partner ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Early-stage / from-scratch GTM experience where you didn't have a fully built system handed to you.
Why this role
This isn't a seat in a big, established sales floor, it's the chance to build NeenOpal's outbound engine from the ground up, starting in North America and expanding into new markets as we grow, and to do it the way an AI company should: AI-augmented from day one, with a direct line to the founders. The person who builds this well grows with it.
