At Unmeshed, we are looking for a passionate and result-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience or strong familiarity with SaaS products, workflow automation platforms, developer tools, API orchestration, or the IT industry. The role focuses on generating qualified leads, initiating conversations with potential clients, and supporting the sales pipeline growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospecting: Identify, research, and engage potential clients through strategic outbound activities including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and industry-based prospecting to create new business opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Generate high-quality and sales-qualified leads by understanding customer requirements, initiating conversations, and scheduling meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Communication: Effectively communicate the value proposition of Unmeshed by understanding client pain points, business challenges, and technology requirements within the SaaS and IT ecosystem.
- Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and consistently manage a healthy pipeline of prospects across target industries to support business growth and revenue generation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute outbound campaigns, demand generation strategies, and customer engagement initiatives aligned with company goals.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, meeting notes, and sales activities within CRM systems to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
- Market Research: Conduct continuous market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities within the SaaS, automation, and IT services industry.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with prospects, stakeholders, and key decision-makers to establish long-term business partnerships.
- Follow-up: Ensure timely and consistent follow-ups with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer experience.
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed assigned KPIs, lead generation targets, outreach metrics, and business development goals in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, SaaS Sales, IT Sales, or Technology Consulting.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, workflow automation, AI solutions, APIs, cloud technologies, or developer-focused platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound prospecting tools is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven, and collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
