Sales Saarthi is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Guwahati.
This role is for someone who is hungry to learn sales, comfortable speaking to people, and willing to get trained properly.
Freshers can apply.
Qualification, degree, SaaS experience, or technology sales experience is not the main filter here. If you are good at understanding people, communicating clearly, thinking during a conversation, and learning fast, this role can be a strong fit.
Training will be provided.
This is not a script-reading or activity-only role. We are looking for someone who can learn how real outbound conversations work.
You will work on B2B outbound and pipeline generation for companies in technology, AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, and related areas. Prior experience in these industries is not required, but interest in technology, AI, cybersecurity, or SaaS is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Identify decision makers and influencers inside target accounts
- Make outbound calls and start meaningful business conversations
- Understand the prospect’s company, role, and possible problem before pitching
- Qualify opportunities based on relevance, interest, timing, and next step
- Follow up with prospects through calls, LinkedIn, and email where required
- Update CRM / sheets with proper call notes, status, and next steps
- Work closely with the founder on live calling, messaging, objection handling, and outreach strategy
- Learn how cold calling, ICP, qualification, and repeatable pipeline generation actually work
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic conversational understanding of Hindi
- Any additional language will be a plus
- Hunger to learn sales seriously
- Confidence to speak with new people and decision makers
- Ability to think during conversations, not just read lines
- Curiosity to understand companies, people, and business problems
- Discipline to follow up, maintain notes, and stay consistent
- Basic comfort with LinkedIn, Google Sheets, email, and CRM tools
- Interest in technology, AI, cybersecurity, or SaaS is a strong plus
