The Role
We’re looking for Sales Development Representatives to drive pipeline growth across multiple sectors through a mix of inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying the right companies, reaching the right stakeholders, and setting up conversations that convert into meaningful engagements.
What You’ll Do
- Outbound Prospecting: Research and identify target companies using Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn, and other tools.
- Inbound Qualification: Respond to inbound enquiries, qualify leads against our ideal client profile, and route high-intent prospects to the sales team.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Run personalised outreach sequences via email (Instantly), LinkedIn, and phone. Craft messages that resonate with sustainability heads, C-suite, procurement leaders, and company secretaries.
- AI-Assisted Research: Use Claude and other AI tools to research prospects, summarise company ESG posture, and personalise outreach at scale.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, track engagement, and manage your pipeline with discipline.
- Collaboration: Work with the sales team to refine messaging, share market intelligence, and improve conversion from lead to meeting.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on ESG regulations, industry trends, and competitor activity to sharpen your outreach.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- 1–3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or inside sales role — ideally in SaaS, software/tech, or EPR sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets
- Hands-on experience with sales prospecting tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Clay, Instantly, or similar platforms
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research and personalisation
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a cold email that actually gets replies
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate (this is a work-from-office role)
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, or regulatory compliance space
- Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market companies
- Prior experience in consulting services or platform sales
