About Recruit SignalsRecruit Signals is an Amsterdam-based B2B SaaS platform that helps recruitment agencies spot companies likely to need their services 20 to 30 days before those companies start actively hiring. We track large amounts of data to identify market signals such as funding rounds, headcount growth, leadership changes and job posting velocity, and we surface warm leads before our customers' competitors even know they exist. We launched in the Netherlands and the UK in 2026 and we are growing fast.
The RoleWe are looking for our first dedicated sales hire: a hungry, people-loving early-career salesperson who wants to learn the craft properly and grow with the company.
At the start this is a sales role, plain and simple. You will spend your days reaching out to recruitment agencies across the UK and the Netherlands, getting them on the phone, and showing them what Recruit Signals can do. We will give you lead lists to work from, so you are not starting cold every morning, but the best people here will also build their own pipeline and bring us prospects we had not thought of.
This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity. As we find our footing and grow, the person in this seat will have the chance to take on more, shape how we sell, and build and lead a sales team of their own. We are not looking for someone to stay an individual contributor forever. We are looking for someone we can grow into a leader.
What You Will Do- Outreach across every channel. Email, LinkedIn and the phone. You will run direct outreach to recruitment agencies, follow up properly, and keep the conversation moving until it becomes a trial, a call, or a customer.
- Prospecting. We provide lead lists, and you will work them hard. You will also use your own judgement to find and qualify prospects we have missed.
- Cold calling. Picking up the phone and talking to people you have never met is a core part of this job. Plenty of conversations start with a call.
- Running trials to a close. We offer a free trial, so much of the job is turning interest into signups, signups into active users, and active users into paying customers.
- Learning the product and the market. You will become fluent in how recruitment agencies work, what they care about, and how to position what we do.
- Feeding the engine. What you hear on calls is gold. You will share what is landing, what is not, and what prospects keep asking for, so we sharpen the pitch and the product together.
Who We Are Looking ForThis role suits one of two profiles:
- A recent graduate with an MBA or a degree in business, or a related field, who is ready to throw themselves at a real commercial role.
- Someone with up to roughly three years of work experience, ideally with some exposure to sales, who is ready to step up and own their numbers.
Beyond that, we are looking for:
- Excellent spoken English. You will be calling into the UK as well as non-native English markets such as the Netherlands, so you need to be clear, confident and easy to understand on the phone. Dutch is a bonus, not a requirement.
- A real desire to grow. You want a career, not just a job, and you are excited by the idea of building and one day leading a team as we scale.
- Comfort with AI tools. We run lean and use AI heavily to do more with less. Experience with tools like Claude, AI agents or workflow automation is a strong plus.
- SaaS experience is preferable, particularly anything involving AI or automating tasks.
- Recruitment industry experience is a real bonus but not required. We build recruitment technology, so understanding that world helps, though we are happy to teach the right person.
