Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves identifying prospective clients, conducting outreach via calls and emails, and scheduling meetings with potential customers. The ideal candidate will qualify leads, maintain accurate records of interactions, and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure consistent pipeline growth. Regular follow-ups with prospects and maintaining strong client relationships will be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Generate qualified enterprise leads through outbound activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling
- Execute demand generation initiatives to build and nurture a strong sales pipeline
- Identify, research, and prospect target enterprise accounts and key stakeholders
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and assess fit
- Schedule high-quality meetings and demos for Enterprise Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align messaging and campaigns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Track outreach performance and continuously optimize messaging and cadence
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer pain points
Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in an Enterprise SDR or similar role
• Proven success in outbound prospecting and cold calling
• Strong experience with demand generation and lead qualification
• Hands-on experience with email marketing and outbound campaigns
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to enterprise customers • Familiarity with sales engagement and CRM tools • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and account-based selling
