About the Role
As an SDR at Convertcart, you'll focus on opening doors at enterprise ecommerce and D2C brands. You'll engage senior decision-makers, understand their business challenges at scale, and qualify them before passing them to the Business Development team. Enterprise sales demands patience, sharp research, and the ability to hold a credible conversation with C-level and VP-level stakeholders — that's exactly who we're looking for.
What You'll Do
• Conduct targeted, high-quality cold calls to engage senior decision-makers — CMOs, VP of eCommerce,
Heads of Growth — at large ecommerce and D2C brands
• Research enterprise accounts thoroughly to craft outreach that speaks directly to their business context and challenges
• Initiate and hold meaningful conversations that reflect a strong understanding of the prospect's business
• Build and execute multi-touch outreach sequences across calls, email, and LinkedIn
• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to map enterprise accounts and identify the right stakeholders
• Qualify leads against Convertcart's enterprise Ideal Customer Profile
• Book a consistent number of qualified meetings every month for the Business Development team
• Maintain clean, accurate records in the CRM
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of SDR or BDR experience in a SaaS company, with exposure to enterprise accounts
• Proven ability to engage and build rapport with senior, C-level, and VP-level stakeholders
• Excellent cold calling skills — comfortable navigating complex organizations, handling objections confidently,
and earning the attention of busy executives
• Ability to ask the right questions, actively listen, and connect enterprise pain points to our solution
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding qualified meeting targets month on month
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CRM proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot
• Self-motivated, patient, and driven to perform in longer sales cycles
• Prior experience selling into enterprise ecommerce or D2C brands
