Role Overview
Hybrid sales role generating $15K+/month revenue through dual channels:
- Enterprise: $5K-$25K contracts (universities, corporate L&D, economics depts)
- Individual: $497-$997 direct enrollments (PhD students, economists, business owners)
Daily Responsibilities
50% Enterprise Sales
Target: Economics Chairs, L&D Directors, Corporate Finance VPs Outreach: "Your team needs Steve Keen's Minsky models built in Excel. Enterprise license = instant ROI for 10-50 users."
Goal: 3 enterprise calls/week → $50K pipeline
50% Individual Sales
Target: PhD candidates, macro podcasters, finance professionals Outreach: "Saw your post on sectoral balances – free Godley table + Rebel Economist Course preview?" Goal: 15 individual calls/month → 8 closes
Prospecting & Outreach
- Build dual pipelines using LinkedIn Sales Navigator (Account Maps + Lead Lists)
- Enterprise: Multi-thread 3-5 stakeholders/account (Procurement + Decision Maker + Champion)
- Individual: High-volume personalized messaging (20%+ connection acceptance)
Sales Execution
Enterprise Demo: Live Godley table build + ROI calculator Individual Close: Objection handling → Stripe or Samcart enrollment → Skool onboarding
Pipeline Management
- Track in Google Sheets: Activity, pipeline value, win probability
- Weekly reviews: Enterprise progression + individual close rates
- Content support: Repurpose course clips for LinkedIn social selling
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 1-2+ years B2B & B2C sales (SaaS/education/corporate training)
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator mastery (Boolean, buying signals)
- Some sort of Economics fluency (MMT, economic models, sectoral balances)
- Comfortable with 6-month enterprise cycles + immediate individual closes
