Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Sales Development Executive. The Sales Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on consumer brands that can benefit from Modist Global’s international expansion services.
Responsibilities include researching target markets and prospects, building and maintaining a strong pipeline, and conducting outreach via email, phone, and virtual meetings to engage decision-makers. The role involves presenting Modist Global’s value proposition, scheduling and supporting sales meetings or demos for senior sales leaders, and collaborating closely with marketing to optimize campaigns and lead quality. The Sales Development Executive will also maintain accurate CRM records, prepare basic sales reports, and provide feedback from prospects to help refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, or international trade services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence engaging C-level and senior stakeholders remotely.
- Ability to understand and clearly articulate operational and commercial value propositions related to logistics, compliance, and cross-border e-commerce.
- Comfort working with data to prioritize leads, track activity, and report on key metrics and conversion rates.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages related to target markets are an advantage.
- Interest in global markets, consumer brands, and cross-border commerce, with a willingness to learn about complex international operations.
