Sales Development Executive — B2B Industrial & Automation
📍 Bengaluru, India (Onsite) | Full-time | 0–4 Years Experience
The Role:
We're looking for someone who's sharp, curious, and hungry to build a career in industrial B2B sales. You don't need years of experience — you need the right instincts, a willingness to get on the floor with customers, and the drive to figure things out fast.
As a Sales Development Executive at Control One, you'll work closely with senior sales and the founding team — learning the product, the industry, and what it takes to win deals in the world of industrial automation, MHEs, and factory technology. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a fast-moving startup where your growth is directly tied to your hustle.
What You'll Do:
• Prospect and qualify leads across manufacturing, warehousing, and industrial automation verticals
• Reach out to plant managers, operations heads, purchase teams, and EHS decision-makers to generate pipeline
• Support senior sales in managing accounts, preparing proposals, and following up on opportunities
• Conduct product demos and presentations — you'll get hands-on with the technology early
• Track and manage your pipeline; own your numbers and report progress regularly
• Attend customer site visits, industry events, and trade shows alongside the team
• Bring market feedback from the field back to the product and leadership teams
What We're Looking For:
• 0–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a customer-facing role — industrial or tech background is a plus
• Genuine interest in manufacturing, automation, or industrial technology — curiosity about how things work matters
• Strong communication skills — comfortable talking to everyone from a floor supervisor to a plant head
• Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity — this is a startup, things move fast
• Organised, with a track record of following through on what you commit to
• Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate; comfortable with travel for customer visits
Nice to Have:
• Prior exposure to industrial products, capital equipment, MHEs, or factory automation
• Experience working with or selling through system integrators or industrial distributors
• Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
