Role Description The Sales Coordinator – Lab Instruments role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves supporting the sales team in day-to-day operations, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and maintaining accurate sales records. The Sales Coordinator will coordinate with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and effective post-sales support. Responsibilities also include tracking sales performance, updating customer databases, scheduling meetings, and assisting with sales reports and presentations. The role requires regular interaction with lab instrument clients, proactive follow-up on leads, and support in organizing local events, demos, and customer visits.
Qualifications
- Strong sales coordination and sales operations skills to manage quotations, orders, and documentation efficiently.
- Customer service and communication skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional relationships.
- Sales skills to support lead follow-up, basic opportunity qualification, and collaboration with field sales representatives.
- Ability to work with lab instruments or scientific products, with good technical learning aptitude.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM or sales management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or a related field; prior experience in scientific or laboratory equipment sales coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
