Overview
The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth execution of sales processes. The primary objective of this position is to facilitate effective communication between the sales team and other departments, manage customer orders efficiently, and assist in achieving sales targets. The Sales Coordinator will be instrumental in streamlining operations and improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between sales representatives and other internal departments, helping to resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
- Process and track customer orders and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Coordinate sales-related activities including meetings, presentations, and customer follow-ups.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and performance data to support decision-making.
- Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Maintain customer databases and ensure accuracy in all records.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and initiatives to drive sales results.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with sales management software and order processing systems.
- Ability to analyze sales data and generate reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or coordinator role.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of sales processes and order management.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and support sales initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in inside sales or direct customer engagement is an advantage.
