Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based in Kolkata. The Sales Consultant will engage with customers on the retail floor, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate products across assigned brands. Responsibilities include demonstrating product features, explaining promotions, and ensuring a positive, informed buying experience. The role involves meeting individual and store sales targets, managing basic inventory checks, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and supporting store operations such as billing and customer follow-up. The Sales Consultant will collaborate closely with store leadership and team members to uphold brand guidelines and deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and build lasting relationships.
- Product presentation and communication skills, including clear verbal communication and confidence in demonstrating features and benefits.
- Basic retail operations skills, such as handling billing systems, managing stock checks, and supporting visual merchandising.
- Sales and target achievement mindset, with the ability to work with goals, track performance, and adapt sales approaches.
- Collaborative work style, reliability, and the ability to follow brand and store processes consistently.
- Prior experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer electronics is an advantage.
- Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort working flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
