Synervion is an ingredient company at the frontier of functional biology. We cultivate, extract and supply premium Cordyceps militaris actives to B2B partners across nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and functional food. Part of the Farmkart Group, our R&D is anchored at Reva Flora, a 13,000 sq. ft. ISO 9001-certified culture lab producing over 10,250 kg annually.

The Opportunity
Gujarat is one of India's most active pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing corridors. Hundreds of processing plants near Ahmedabad are not yet working with Cordyceps-based ingredients. Your job is to change that. You own B2B sales for this region from day one: hunting new accounts, building commercial relationships and closing supply agreements. You will be on the road more than you will be at your desk.
What you will do
Field Sales
▸ Drive to processing plants, R&D centres and manufacturers across Ahmedabad and Gujarat to qualify new accounts
▸ Execute cold outreach by phone, WhatsApp and in-person visits with consistent follow-through
▸ Attend industry events and supplier days to expand your network
AI-Augmented Selling
▸ Use AI tools daily for territory prioritisation, outreach personalisation and meeting preparation
▸ Contribute to the commercial playbook by sharing field learnings with leadership
▸ Adopt new AI workflows as they evolve — curiosity is as valued as experience
Account Development
▸ Convert qualified leads into sample-stage relationships, then into supply agreements
▸ Coordinate sample dispatch and track customer feedback through to formulation sign-off
▸ Build and maintain the sales toolkit: product brochures, one-pagers, FAQs, pricing guides and training materials so every conversation is backed by strong collateral
▸ Maintain same-day CRM records for every account, interaction and opportunity
Customer Intelligence
▸ Systematically capture insights, objections and unmet needs from every B2B conversation and feed them back to the leadership team
▸ Build a living knowledge base of what customers care about, what stops them and what would accelerate their decision to formulate with Cordyceps
Report on competitive dynamics, pricing signals and formulation trends so Synervion continuously sharpens its positioning
What we expect
▸ In the field a minimum of 4 days per week, visiting plants and meeting decision-makers face to face.
▸ Within 60 days: a live pipeline of at least 15 qualified prospects across different stages.
▸ Within 90 days: samples dispatched to at least 8 qualified accounts, feedback tracked.
▸ Within 6 months: at least 2 commercial supply agreements closed.
▸ CRM updated same day for every call, visit or meaningful conversation. AI tools in active use daily.
Who you are
▸ 3 to 6 years of B2B field sales in ingredients, pharma excipients, nutraceuticals or a related sector
▸ Proven record of hunting and closing accounts from scratch
▸ Comfortable walking into a plant and earning the trust of a procurement or R&D lead on the first visit
▸ Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi; working English for internal use
▸ Hands-on with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and motivated to push that further
Based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate. Valid driving licence required.
