Sales / Business Development Manager – Industrial Paints
Location: West India – Gujarat / Maharashtra
Industry: Industrial Paints & Protective Coatings
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales / Business Development Manager with strong expertise in Industrial Paints and Protective Coatings. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new clients, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence across industrial segments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and commercial knowledge in products such as High Build PU, Epoxy Coatings, Cool Coatings, Defence Coatings, and Marine Coatings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development activities for Industrial & Protective Coatings.
- Develop new business opportunities across industrial, infrastructure, marine, defence, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, dealers, OEMs, consultants, and project clients.
- Identify upcoming projects and generate leads through market mapping and networking.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers regarding coating systems and applications.
- Coordinate with technical/service teams for product approvals, trials, and successful project execution.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, collections, and profitability goals.
- Ensure strong market penetration and brand visibility in the assigned territory.
Product Expertise Required:
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
- High Build PU Coatings
- Epoxy Coatings
- Cool Roof Coatings
- Defence Coatings
- Marine Coatings
- Industrial Protective Coatings
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 5–15 years of experience in Industrial Paints / Protective Coatings sales.
- Strong exposure to B2B sales and project-based business development.
- Good understanding of coating chemistry, applications, and industrial standards.
- Experience handling industrial clients, EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat and Maharashtra.
