About the Role
We are hiring a full-time Sales Associate (Fresher) to be part of our HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) and Institutional Sales team. This is an on-site role located in Noida. The responsibilities include identifying and building relationships with new business partners, understanding client needs, promoting the company’s offerings to HoReCa and institutional clients, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the FMCG market trends, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and negotiation skills. The Sales Associate will also manage pre-sales and post-sales interactions to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Identification: Identify potential customers within the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) and institutional segments.
- Data-Driven Outreach: Work on existing leads and incoming database to call and conduct a thorough needs analysis.
- Field Engagement: Conduct field visits to local hotels and restaurants to build a professional network through consultative selling.
- Platform Pitching: Pitch our marketplace effectively and assist clients in placing their initial bulk orders.
- Customer Retention: Maintain pre-and-post sales connections with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat orders.
- Market Analysis: Understand and document customer demands and market trends to provide feedback to the team.
Educational Background
- Graduate (BBA) or Post-Graduate (MBA).
- Preference for candidates with a focus on Marketing, Sales, or Hospitality.
Core Competencies & Soft Skills
- Consultative Mindset: A natural inclination toward understanding client needs rather than just "pushing" a product.
- Persistence: High energy and resilience to manage daily field visits and follow-ups in the Noida/NCR territory.
- Good Communication: Ability to clearly articulate the value of the digital marketplace to traditional business owners in simple terms.
- Networking Ability: Comfortable walking into new environments (hotels, restaurants, cafes) to build a professional rapport from scratch.
Language & Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Hindi and English to interact effectively with a diverse range of business owners and internal teams.
- Comfortable using mobile applications for order placement, tracking, and basic data entry.
- Familiarity with basic office tools (Email, WhatsApp for business) and an ability to learn our internal marketplace dashboard.
Practical Requirements
- Mobility: As this is a Hybrid role involving frequent client visits, owning a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is preferred for navigating the Noida territory.
- Availability: Ready to begin onboarding in April or May 2026 to align with our Q2 operational rollout.
