Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Kanpur. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products, providing detailed product information, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Additional daily responsibilities include maintaining store stock, managing inventory, and generating sales reports. Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and peers is also essential to the role.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist and engage with customers effectively
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock organization, and handling store operations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for accurate processing of transactions
- Basic proficiency in computer systems for sales reporting and inventory tracking
- Previous experience in retail or textiles-related roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
