Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Associate based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Sales Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, understanding customer insurance needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions from LIC’s diverse product offerings. Key responsibilities include generating leads, achieving sales targets, conducting sales presentations, providing post-sales support, and keeping up-to-date with LIC's insurance plans to effectively educate and serve clients.
Qualifications
- Sales and Relationship Management skills, including client acquisition, lead generation, and client relationship building
- Customer Service and Communication skills, including active listening, interpersonal communication, and customer support
- Time Management and Organizational skills to ensure efficiency in client management and meeting sales targets
- Knowledge of insurance products and services, especially life insurance, pension, health plans, and investment-linked policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication
- Familiarity with the financial services industry is an advantage
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any field
