Job Overview:
The Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and working professionals in selecting the right educational programs and career paths. The role involves understanding student aspirations, providing personalized counselling, and assisting them throughout the admission and application process.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their educational and career goals.
- Assess students’ academic background, interests, and strengths to recommend suitable courses and institutions.
- Guide students through the entire admission and application process, including course selection, documentation, and timelines.
- Provide accurate information about universities, colleges, programs, and admission requirements.
- Stay updated with current educational trends, courses, and scholarship opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions, counselling sessions, and follow-ups.
- Assist students in aligning their academic choices with long-term career aspirations.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and provide continuous guidance throughout the decision-making process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation in any discipline (Mandatory)
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Quick learner with the ability to respond effectively to student queries
- Strong interpersonal skills and a student-first approach
