Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Chamba. The Sales Associate will engage with existing and potential members to promote savings schemes, deposit plans, and loan products, providing clear information and answering queries. Responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with members, and ensuring high-quality customer service at the branch. The role involves processing basic documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and following company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Sales Associate will work toward sales and membership targets while upholding HGNL Nidhi Limited’s standards of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on understanding member needs and providing appropriate financial solutions.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain products clearly, handle objections, and close transactions effectively.
- Basic financial literacy and comfort working with savings, deposits, and loan products, along with attention to detail in documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in relevant local languages and English, and professional interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including use of office software and digital tools for record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Chamba, meet targets, and collaborate with branch staff in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
- Prior experience in banking, Nidhi companies, microfinance, or retail financial sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary (12th pass); a graduate degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred.
