Role Description The Sales Associate role at HEALTHYMIN is a full-time, on-site position based in Sopore. The Sales Associate is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate health and wellness products and services. Daily tasks include engaging with customers in-store, explaining product features and benefits, processing sales transactions, and maintaining clean, well-organized displays. The role also involves tracking inventory levels, assisting with stock replenishment, and supporting promotional activities. Sales Associates are expected to provide courteous, informed service, work collaboratively with team members, and meet individual and store sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a respectful, helpful approach.
- Sales and retail skills, such as basic sales techniques, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems.
- Organizational skills for managing inventory, maintaining product displays, and following store procedures.
- Basic numerical and computer skills to process transactions, record sales, and manage simple reporting tasks.
- Interest in health and wellness products and willingness to learn about product benefits and usage.
- Ability to work on-site in Sopore, stand for extended periods, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not strictly required.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or business is a plus.
