Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Srinagar. The Sales Associate will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable products, such as insurance policies, loans, credit cards, and mutual funds. Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and calls, explaining product features and benefits, and supporting clients through the application and onboarding process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM or internal systems, following up on pending cases, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. The Sales Associate will collaborate with internal teams to resolve client queries promptly and participate in ongoing training to stay current on product updates, compliance requirements, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial products clearly and build long-term trust.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in financial services or related industries.
- Basic understanding of financial products such as insurance, loans, credit cards, and mutual funds, with a willingness to learn in depth.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including managing pipelines, follow-ups, and accurate documentation.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and office applications for lead management, reporting, and communication.
- Minimum higher secondary education; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Srinagar, with flexibility to meet clients within and outside the office as needed.
- Prior experience in banking, insurance, NBFCs, or other financial distribution channels is an advantage.
- Fluency in local language(s) and English, with professional interpersonal skills and a client-centric mindset.
