Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Sales Associate located in Bengaluru South. Sales Associates at DMart are responsible for assisting customers with product selection, managing stock displays, maintaining cleanliness and organization of store aisles, and operating the cash register. Additionally, the role involves providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and supporting smooth store operations as part of a growing team.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and maintain inventory or restocking requirements.
- Customer service experience and a welcoming attitude to enhance the shopping experience.
- Basic numerical skills and competency in operating point-of-sale and transaction systems.
- Willingness to learn about a wide range of products and their use to provide customer assistance.
- Physical stamina to manage a fast-paced retail environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting products.
- Prior retail or sales experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
